Why CardVolume exists
Love the cards. Know the market. CardVolume is an independent publication helping collectors understand what they collect, what they are buying, and what deserves a closer look.
What we do
Most trading-card content online is either a price-tracking page with no explanation, or a hype post telling you what to buy. We think adult collectors deserve something in between: clear explanations of how identification, pricing, grading, and buying actually work, written by people who collect, with sources and dates attached.
We start with Pokémon because that is where our experience is deepest. We will add other card games only when we have something genuinely useful to say about them.
What we do not do
- We do not tell you that any card is an investment, and we do not predict prices.
- We do not publish market data we cannot substantiate. When evidence is thin, we say so.
- We do not copy card descriptions or price tables from other websites.
How we make money
CardVolume is funded by its operators. We may in future earn revenue from newsletter sponsorships, clearly labelled, or from paid features of our sister product, RadarRabbit. If we own, sell, or have any interest in a card discussed in an article, that article carries a disclosure. See the editorial policy.
Relationship to RadarRabbit
RadarRabbit is operated by the same team. CardVolume explains the decisions; RadarRabbit provides working calculators that apply the costs those decisions involve. The two sites link to each other where that is useful, and nowhere else.
